As a group of 'tweener kids play a game of football on the
snowy streets of New York,
a stray ball flies up and shatters the window of an apartment. One boy takes a
look inside, sees a dead body, and after a shout of alarm the group scatters. A
few of the kids cut through the park to get away. The silence that descends
after their escape is broken by the sound of a fast-moving shopping cart racing
through the park. It tips over eventually, dumping a dead young man, wearing
only army boots, shorts and a jester's hat, into the snow.

Later, Det. Angell, Danny and Sheldon... (more)

It's a quiet night in the city, and all seems well in the
Mitchum household. Gina Mitchum checks on her sleeping 19-year-old daughter
Allison, and 10-month old baby Elizabeth is happily cooing in the crib. But as
Gina walks back to her bedroom, she doesn't notice when a man wielding a
shotgun appears behind her. As Gina sits on the bed, she feels a strange
vibration, and the baby monitor goes crazy. She runs down the hall, horrified
to see Allison, dead on the floor of the baby's room. Her scream shatters the
silence.

It's late, 4:30am kind of late, and a bartender's just
closing up shop with her bouncer when a young African American man in a hooded
green sweatshirt busts in. He pops the defenseless woman twice in the chest,
leaving the bouncer unharmed and able to give a good description of the
shooter. Mac, Lindsay and Stella descend upon the scene taking all manner of
evidence, while elsewhere, a young man running in the neighborhood wearing a
green sweatshirt is stopped by the cops with a wad of cash in his pocket. It's
Sheldon.

BASE jumping is a dangerous line of work, made more
dangerous by the unpredictable nature of wind and weather. But are birds
usually an issue? They are for the victim, 23-year-old Jeff Scott, the best
BASE jumper in the business. It's doubtful he anticipated a dead flock of
pigeons falling out of the sky directly onto his open parachute. He fell right
along with them, landing in the middle of a busy New York street while doing a promotion
for a Madison Avenue corporation. The pigeons were a racing flock, and to
confuse the issue, they were also poisoned. Some of the birds bear... (more)

Two young women and too much alcohol make for a dangerous
combination, especially behind the wheel. As the women drive home from
partying, their car careens out of control. The crash kills one and lands
19-year-old Nicole Garner in the hospital: she's in bad shape Though paralyzed
from the waist down, she makes good progress until someone decides she
shouldn't have survived. Five days after the accident, Nicole is murdered in
her bed, face still swathed in bloody bandages.

As the CSIs hurriedly cover all avenues at the
hospital, Mac comforts the two mothers, Ellen Garner... (more)

Chasing one another down a dark alley, a pair of serious
paintball players gets into the game, shooting gobs of paint with high powered
rifles. When one player gets cornered, he enters a warehouse, only to get taken
out moments later by a real bullet. After a second shot, the man goes down,
overlooked by a spooky giant nutcracker.

Meanwhile, Stella asks Mac to meet her at a bar for
a drink. She explains that she's felt like she's being followed for about a
week; at work, at the store, on her way home. Mac wants to assign some units to
protect her but she brushes it off. "I... (more)

As Peyton and Mac enjoy a sophisticated evening watching
Madame Butterfly at the Met, a pile of raucous New Yorkers are partying hard on
a subway train. But after a young woman drains a flask of liquor, she screams
in horror, bleeding from her eyes, nose and mouth. She drops to the floor as the
lights strobe around her, unnoticed amidst the chaos. Moments later, Mac's
phone interrupts the applause at the opera. Looks like his birthday date just
got cut short.

At the scene, the CSIs marvel at the enormous
amount of blood present with no external injuries to the body. "It... (more)

Sun shines down on a rooftop hotel pool where Mandi Foster, a
young, bikini-clad model, cavorts with beach balls for the camera. When a
pretty hotel concierge arrives carrying special pillows for Mandi, the model
shows her true diva colors and demands something even better. She bops the
concierge on the head with one of the pillows and sashays off to her room.

Next thing we know, the lovely young concierge,
20-year-old Sara Jackson, is suspended from a balcony, hanging onto a woman's
hand. Her hand slips and she falls to her death, impaled on a sculpture's spikes.

What's it like to fit in somewhere? At 17, Carensa Sanders
wants to know; living in Casper,
Wyoming is getting old and she's
ready to leave home. She applies to be a SuicideGirl, and one year later,
performs in a crazy punk show with the Girls in Queens.
Unfortunately, she doesn't survive the night.

The CSIs take in the scene; Carensa, or Omen, as
she's now called, lies dead in an alley only blocks from the club. Though she's
covered in what looks like blood, Danny deduces it's only cherry syrup. Cause
of death is determined to be massive hemorrhaging in the brain from a... (more)
